Back to the legacy project. I was wrong. Embroidery wasn't next up, sewing the side seams was. The yarn I bought for the ribbing proved to be too thick for seaming. But any thin yarn would do, since with mattress stitch, it would barely show. See?
And here's a bit at the end so you can see what color I wound up using to sew the seams.
There was a long enough tail on the cuffs to seam them up with the original yarn, which is nice in case the eventual wearer wants to turn back the cuffs.
Now can I embroider?
