I am now in the infinitely long, timeless slog of the mere three and a half inches of stockinette before I can start the decreases and color-work portion of the yoke of my lopapeysa. Unlike some of the really stunning examples in that article and elsewhere, this pattern is very simple, and I chose to do it in colors of the forest, so temper your expectations.

Thank goodness for books, podcasts, and television to pass the time. Although some things (I'm looking at you, GOT) are too intense even for mindless rounds of stockinette.
