Woken from Hibernation

I just came across a project I started nearly 15 years ago, in May 2004. I bought the kit at that year’s Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival, cast on, knit a couple of inches, and then... life happened.

To my great good fortune, the whole thing was still in the project bag - purchase receipt, care instructions, pattern, yarn, and the knitting itself — on only one needle, but I’ll find the other one. Best of all, the needle has a row counter at the end, so I even know where I left off in the pattern!
